New Semester/Second Trimester

One week into a new semester, and I am already sick of school.  Good thing in is my last semester of classes!  Annnd, I am officially at 13 weeks, so I’m starting my second trimester, which is pretty awesome.

It was a long week.  I have more classes than ever, and it seems that some of my professors don’t really want to do much teaching, so I think I will have to teach myself a few subjects this semester, which is a little annoying.

I am really disappointed in my Women’s Health class.  I was so excited about it, especially considering that I am pregnant. but the professor kind of leaves the information up to us to read and learn, which just isn’t what I expected.  Furthermore, we only had one lecture on prenatal care, and we didn’t even discuss the different changes that happen to the female body when pregnant.  Good thing I have first hand experience!

I am so glad the week is almost over.  Today is the most exhausted I have been in a while, so my outlook on the semester is kind of bleak.  It is just so difficult to sit through classes until three or four in the afternoon and have any kind of energy to study when I get home.

I will probably start to skip some of my classes now that I know the different professors and their styles of teaching.  It is just so hard to pay attention for hours on end, and if I go to class and don’t pay attention there is no point in being there.  I have definitely learned this the hard way.  I am so glad I live in the age of technology so that lectures can be recorded!  I find I listen much better when I can take breaks and listen when I am ready to focus.

I am too exhausted to think of anything else to say.  So…the end.
